Hi everybody. I’m going to do a quick video today, a demonstration with the Mini Golden Doodle puppies. One of the things we do here at Maple Hill Doodles is a program desensitizing puppies to different sounds, different scents, different textures, all sorts of things that makes them well-rounded adults. One benefit of many, of raising puppies in the house instead of a kennel is that they are used to all sorts of household noises, whether it be, in this case, it’s going to be the vacuum cleaner, blow dryer is outside in the summer when they’re out with us, we’re pushing the lawnmower. Basic things that they will experience in their new homes they are getting used to now.

So you can see all these little pine pellets in there. Typically in here, we have their crates, their toys, their dish, and their litter box, which is where this mess came from. So when I vacuum in here, I pull everything out and you’ll see in just a minute how the puppies react. Or I should say don’t react to the noise. They either will ignore it or some want to play with the vacuum cleaner, but you’ll see none of them are frightened. So, we’re going to go ahead and vacuum now so you can see that.

Okay. It’s too hard for me to vacuum and hold a camera. So, that was just an example so you could see the puppies, they were not scared at all and actually several of them love the vacuum cleaner. They think it’s a toy when I plug it in here. I’m going to go ahead and end this video so I can finish cleaning up in here. Thanks for watching.
